Transparent screens

I have seen this in a few places, and cannot remember specifically where (sorry that I can't credit you properly), but these are a set of photos where the desktop backgrounds in Windows shows the area behind the computer, making the screen look transparent.

It's a pretty cool effect, and some of them are stunning. It must take quite a bit of fiddling around with scaling, cropping and light levels etc.
